The idea-competition of the Bodenseewasserversorgung (Lake of Constance water supply) comprised the invention of a new symbol for the location of the city of Stuttgart.
To position the medium water into the right light, the decision for a pump control was made, which is supposed to generate drop images of targeted pictures.

The pump-tube-system was supposed to be wrapped in a sculpture, which made of a sort of a overhanging arch is to point toward the entrance of the building and with a water curtain to encourage passing pedestrians.
