Project 1- urban development tuebingen
(3rd semester)

The district of Tuebuingen – Lustenau is marked by a dilapidated industrial area, which as well constitutes an unpleasant honest taste for the adjacent neighbourhoods. This caused the ex working- class flats to mutate into a socially weak housing area.

The goal was to create a new quality of living for this district and to convert unnecessary parts into more attractive ones. The direct location to the river, offers a most advantageous position for a hight quality housing area. With the redesign of a central place, the district gained a new and unique character.

The living areas are all equipped with sufficient green and free space areas, which were planned to create an open space. To expressively enhance the attraction of potential tenants, the units were added eye-catching lofts.
